With an emphasis on everyone, we focus on removing barriers to outdoor experiences for those with physical or cognitive challenges as well as those from underrepresented communities.  The Three Rivers Parks District promotes outdoor recreation, education and environmental stewardship throughout our world class system of 26 parks, serving over 13 million people annually. 
Our annual Summerbration event is our largest fundraiser for the year.  The proceeds of this event help us achieve our mission and will support: 
Adapted Recreation programs - Ensure access and adapted gear for persons with disabilities. 
Pathways Internships - Provide young adults, particularly those facing barriers to employment, with paid internships to explore a career in parks and recreation. 
Explorer Camps - Provide outdoor recreation and nature education to youth in under-represented communities though our Parks on the Go van and related programs.
