Every dollar raised through this golf tournament goes directly toward assisting youth and youth programs in our local community of Vista/Oceanside California. Kiwanis Club of Sunrise Vista donates Educational and Arts scholarships, rewards elementary school students with books when they student "is caught being good" and with the BUG (Bring Up Grades program-students are rewarded for grade improvement). In addition, over the last 4 years Kiwanis Club of Sunrise Vista has given out over 10,000 books sto children along the City of Vista Holiday Parade route. Our club sponsors 5 Key clubs and 1 Builders club where students learn about leadershiip and about volunteering their time in their community.
