Description

Huntington SEPTA advocates for and supports the special education community, as well as all students, in the Huntington School District. We are parent volunteers working with our district’s teachers, administrators, the community, and the Special Education and Student Support (SESS) departments.

Please consider supporting Huntington SEPTA in this crucial fundraising effort.  The names of all donating organizations will be prominently displayed and thanked in our program.

Here are some ways that you can help:

 Donate gift cards
Contribute items or services to be raffled/auctioned at the Gala
Make a direct tax-deductible contribution to Huntington SEPTA

SEPTA provides valuable programs, workshops, and classroom materials for the children and staff within Huntington School District 3. Thanks to generous donations, SEPTA has been able to fund many initiatives and supplement classroom curriculum, including providing software for students with autism; Smart boards and I-pads; speech and language materials; flexible seating (such as wiggle seats, motion stools, and balance balls); yoga teacher-training for Adaptive Physical Education; games and materials for social skills clubs; and opportunities for our students to participate in STEM activities. SEPTA also awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors each year.

It is SEPTA’s mission to promote quality education for all students with special needs. We can not do this without your help. Like many organizations, the COVID 19 pandemic has taken a toll on our budget and our ability to fund important programs. We are hoping that this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever and help us regain some momentum so we continue supporting our students and staff.

We thank you for any contribution you can make. And in an effort to keep our activities green, please accept our thanks and gratitude for your generous support in advance.
