Remember when you were a kid playing in the woods? Remember the feeling of a frog jumping out of your hand? Me too! I am a parent involved in a significant fundraising event for my daughter’s preschool, the Field Station Cooperative. The Field Station is a nature-focused learning center nestled within the Indiana Dunes National Park in Porter, Indiana. Our unique programs are committed to teaching young children about the natural world around them and providing the opportunity to experience nature every day. We hope you share this vision and will consider donating an item to our silent auction to be held at The Dune Acres Clubhouse in Dune Acres, Indiana on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

Through our previous fundraising efforts, we have been able to renovate an abandoned old barn and a historic farmhouse. Between the two facilities, the Field Station has over 80 students enrolled in our preschool and over 50 students that take part in our summer camps. These students are able to experience and learn about the incredible natural resources that we are so fortunate to have in Northwest Indiana. The proceeds from our fundraising efforts go directly toward the operational expenses of The Field Station Cooperative and will help us continue to give students the foundation they need for lifelong learning. Without generous support from people like you, we would not be able to continue offering our unique preschool and summer programs.
