Sweat for Vets is an annual workout and silent auction fundraiser held at Veterans Day to support Open Doors Outdoors.  Open Doors Outdoors is a non-profit that takes Veterans into nature for healing and reconnection. They do that through hikes, kayaking, snowshoeing, etc.  The Founder had PTSD after leaving the military, and found that the woods was the one place where he felt better and began to heal. He now helps 100's of Veterans do the same, in conjunction with needed therapy and other healing methods.  Open Doors Outdoors also owns a UTV that they brought a Veteran and his 2 autistic sons for a ride in. They found that the UTV provides vibration therapy for the autistic children, so they also bring local families on free UTV rides.
