Description

My name is Lauren Hummel and I’m a part of the fundraising team at Parkland Aquatic Club (PAAC).  For over 30 years, PAAC has been a premier USA Swimming Club in the Lehigh Valley. Our mission is to provide a safe, healthy and positive environment where young people are empowered to be champions in life through excellence in swimming.

We’re hosting our annual Swim-A-Thon on May 19, 2023 to raise funds and continue our work.

One popular component of Swim-A-Thon is our basket raffles.  We are seeking unique and interesting items to include in this year’s offerings. In previous years we’ve had contributions like tickets to sporting events and concerts, restaurant gift cards, theme park tickets and gift cards and goods from local and national businesses.

We would like to ask your company if you’d be willing to donate, [specific item or service]. If an in-kind donation isn’t possible, monetary donations are always greatly appreciated.

Your contribution will be vital to helping us succeed in our Swim-A-Thon fundraising. With your generous in-kind or monetary donation, we can help offset the cost of our biggest capital investment to date.  Through a partnership with Stonecrest Swim Club, PAAC recently purchased an inflatable dome and related equipment that allows the club to create a 3-season heated training facility around the existing outdoor pool.  The dome has allowed us to enhance our training for our competitive team, re-introduce our Learn to Swim program, and add new programs such as toddler-and-me and group swim lessons.

As always, your contributions are valuable to the continuation of our club’s mission and the local swimming community.

Sincerely,

Stone Crest Swim Club
