 The Honor Foundation’s Fourth Annual Swim for SOF 

 
Located in San Diego, CA

This high-performance athletic event draws together anyone willing to take the challenge—supporters, veterans, and businesses alike—in a race that embodies the grit and determination of our Special Operations Forces, giving us a glance at just how hard they work to defend our freedom.

A 3.3-mile open water swim from Coronado, CA to the historic USS Midway Museum. 

Additional 1-mile Sprint option*!

Approximately 120 swimmers, including invited veterans from all branches of the Special Operations Community 

(SEAL/SWCC/EOD/MARSOC/Green Beret, PJ's, etc). 

 

The event will commence with a ceremony on the beach, including a moment of silence for our fallen teammates.
Participants will run in formation with American flags to Glorietta Bay.
Participants will swim 1-mile to Tidelands Park. Leg 1 of 2 of FULL race.
Complete Distance for the 1-mile Sprint option.
Participants will honor fallen veterans in a tribute workout* at Tidelands park. 
The final 2.3-mile leg of the swim will be to the USS Midway.
A second tribute workout** will take place on the deck of the USS Midway to complete the race.
Closing ceremony activities will ensue which include a large after party with an amazing Silent Auction! 

 


Swimmers will receive 1 party ticket as part of registration. Additional party tickets may be available for purchase.

*1-mile Sprint option has limited registrations
