Our high school jazz program is a self funded part of our high school band. To raise funding for our jazz band, we host a Swing Dance and Silent Auction each year. It is an amazing evening of jazz by our talented students, dancing, food and a silent auction. It is truly a magical night and is our source of funding for our jazz program for the year.
We have some amazingly talented students that love jazz and work very hard to perform at a high level. Our jazz program helps students increase their potential at playing a variety of jazz music and performing impromptu solos. With funding, our jazz program is able to play in our community at a variety of venues and is able to bring in guest musicians to run clinics to help our jazz students improve. Our students are talented, driven, and excited about jazz, they just need the funding to make this program really work!
