Description

Join MCHA for an evening of fun, laughter, and comradery while supporting the programs and services of the Monroe County Humane Association!  Our 14th Annual Tails on the Town features a silent and live auction, a full dinner, dessert sale, wine and spirits tables, MCHA therapy teams snuggles, and other surprises!  Come be a part of MCHA’s largest fundraising event of the year as all proceeds go to support our Annual Fund.

This evening is made possible by the generous support of sponsors, business donations, volunteers, and attendees.  Featuring auction items in a wide price range and variety and over 125 attendees, Tails on the Town offers a unique opportunity to show support for the animals in our community!

 Fund an Item

Every year brings unique opportunities and funding challenges; Tails on the Town highlights a different focus each auction by sharing with attendees how they can best support MCHA.  For this year’s Fund an Item, our newest endeavor at the Animal Care Campus, the MCHA Pet Memorial Garden, is featured.    The Pet Memorial Garden allows community members to come and quietly remember their furry loved ones who have crossed over that rainbow bridge.  Within the garden are mulched trails leading to quiet, remembrance areas, each with their own limestone bench.  Future features include a small gazebo, solar lighting, a dedicated area to hang pet collars and tags, and a protected area for scattering pet cremains.
