Take Back The Night was first created back in the 70’s when incidents of violence against women in major cities garnered media attention. Marches began to form to advocate safety of women on the street. It has since evolved to advocating against violence to all genders. “Take Back The Night” is a important and empowering event for survivors of domestic or sexual abuse to attend and regain their voices. Mountain Crisis Services will be hosting their first TBTN since 2002 in October of 2023. We want to empower survivors to come to our event and speak out against violence against them and within our community.
