Name of Event: Take Me Out to the Ball Game- A CornerHouse Fundraiser

Estimated Attendance: 7,000-10,000

Proceeds of the event will benefit CornerHouse’s abuse prevention, response, advocacy, and healing services.

Publicity and advertising will include web, social media, print, and radio.

Audience description: families, corporations, community leaders, and young professionals. The event is not just limited to supporters of CornerHouse but encompasses all in attendance for a night of Saints baseball at CHS Field.

CornerHouse is a Children's Advocacy Center in Minneapolis that partners with families, communities, and systems - entrusted with the safety of children, youth and vulnerable adults - to reduce trauma and end abuse. We support families through the abuse disclosure, investigation, and healing processes through response, advocacy, and therapeutic services - so children can reconnect with who they were meant to be.

During the COVID pandemic and subsequent lockdown, children have been isolated and confined at home – away from trusted adults. As children returned to school, we’ve seen the severity and number of child abuse cases rise. CornerHouse's staff has been working diligently to provide necessary forensic interviewing, advocacy, and mental health treatment to keep kids safe and help them heal.

Your support will ensure CornerHouse can serve every child who needs us.
