The Tales from the Garden Gala is an annual fundraising event that benefits City Garden School in Columbia, Missouri. It is a festive social occasion with a theme that changes each year and includes dinner, entertainment, silent and live auctions, and other ways to give for the benefit of the school.

This year, the theme is Elemental Magic and will be held on Friday, April 5, 2023. All are invited to be transported to a realm where the very essence of life is celebrated. Elemental Magic promises to be a symphony of the elements like no other—an evening where the forces of nature come alive, and the magic of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water surrounds you. Come dressed in attire that resonates with your favorite element, and let the enchantment of this night transport you to a world where wonder knows no bounds.

The Gala is pivotal to supporting our financial aid and scholarship programs and also helps us meet our annual operating budget. We greatly appreciate our community, dedicated sponsors, donors, and volunteers who come together to make it possible for City Garden School to bring an educational experience inspired by Waldorf methods to the children of mid-Missouri.
