Description

The Talmadge Community Association holds a charity fundraiser annually called the Talmadge Block Party. This annual event was founded as a way for the community to come together to foster community values and neighborhood spirit and to donate funds to local charities. After a break the last two years, we are happy to announce the event will return in 2022. The 22nd Annual Talmadge Block Party is an entirely voluntary and non-profit event, based solely on the contribution of time, effort and money from many of our neighbors.

More than 1,200 homes make up the neighborhood and all are invited to the event that features live music, games, food, kids and adult activities and prizes. Hundreds of neighbors attend and community groups and public officials are also in attendance.

We Make your Contributions Count
Proceeds are donated to a community cause. In the past, we have been proud to make significant donations to Hoover High School, Fay and Edison Elementary Schools, the YMCA, and many other worthy community causes. This year funds will be donated to Ben Franklin Elementary School and the City Heights Music School for disadvantaged youth.

Sponsors will be promoted by category in a flyer distributed to more than 1,200 homes in Talmadge, a link on TalmadgeBlockParty.org, name recognition at the event and featured on the back page of the November issue of the Ken-Tal News (a $500 Value).
