We are Victim Witness Services for Coconino County VWS is an independent, non-profit agency that serves victims of crime and crisis through crisis response, case management, court advocacy and after care programs. Headquartered in Flagstaff, AZ, VWS has community-based satellite offices in Page, Tuba City, Grand Canyon Village and Williams. Our services are holistic, trauma-informed and rooted in an effort to help clients find strength and healing while empowering victims to become survivors. Over the past year, VWS has served 1,756 unique clients, provided over 50 families with emergency shelter, attended court hearings/proceedings for victims 1,143 times, helped 199 victims prepare or deliver victim impact statements, helped 1,010 clients navigate the criminal justice system and helped protect their victim rights, and helped 273 clients receive restitution or victim compensation for crimes committed against them.

The 23rd Annual Taste of Flagstaff! This annual celebration of Victim Witness Services’ work within the Coconino Community is an opportunity for VWS to recognize community partners and sponsors without whose support VWS would not be able to do its work. Generally, this is an evening event with lots of food, a silent auction and over 300 members of the community in attendance. We are hosting a raffle, offering door prizes, and inviting everyone throughout Coconino County to join us in celebrating VWS’ work as well as that of our community partners and sponsors.
