Most Holy Rosary School’s annual fundraiser “The Taste of Strathmore” is scheduled for Saturday, November 4, 2023. This fundraiser is vital to support the students of our school, as the money raised by this event goes directly to our operating budget. This community-based event features a wide variety of food and beverages prepared by the school’s families and friends, as well as a silent auction and raffle baskets. Another part of this event is an extraordinarily popular raffle known as the “Dozen Dinners Raffle.” Supporters buy raffle tickets in hopes of winning a grand prize of twelve $100 gift cards to the most popular area restaurants. Second prize is six $100 gift certificates. Our event consistently hosts over 400 families, neighbors, Most Holy Rosary Parishioners, and MHR Alumni. 

We are actively seeking local restaurant gift cards for our Dozen Dinner raffle, silent auction or raffle donations of merchandise or services. You can also contribute by advertising your business in our event's program. Can you help by supporting this event this year? 

Most Holy Rosary School is an elementary Catholic School located in Syracuse, New York’s historic Strathmore Neighborhood. Our school is one of the few remaining Catholic elementary schools within the City of Syracuse, and is an anchor for the surrounding urban neighborhood. As you may already know, numerous studies have noted the importance of Catholic schools in stabilizing and maintaining urban neighborhoods.

By donating to this year’s event, your business name will be seen in multiple advertising venues, including the Taste of Strathmore’s Facebook page, MHR’s church bulletin, our alumni networks and local media which reaches several hundred local area residents weekly. In addition, all early donors are recognized in the Taste of Strathmore Program, professionally printed and used the night of the event.
