Description

Taste of the Town is an important fundraising event that Assistance League of Fullerton has organized and offers as a fundraiser in the City of Fullerton during the summer for more than 40 years.  It is set up and staffed by our volunteers, and local restaurants provide the food as an in-kind donation.  Advance mailings for ticket sales and an advertising booklet, raffles of baskets, in-kind donations of tickets and gift cards from local businesses and parks/museums, and opportunity drawings improve the overall funds that are raised.  This event nets about $40,000-$50,000 a year which is raised for our philanthropies. 

Donations used at our Taste of the Town fundraisers event are used in multiple ways.  If it is made as a gift card or other merchandise, it would be bundled in a tasteful gift basket with like items, put on display, and made available for silent auction or raffle.  If a cash donation, a thank you would be posted on our Web page.
