The Taste of the Vine event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum in downtown Santa Barbara.  There will be 300-350 attendees wine tasting from some of the local vintners accompanied by appetizers, a sit-down dinner, and entertainment, as well as both a silent and live auction and a raffle.

SDRI has conducted groundbreaking diabetes research since May, 1944, and as a result, both children and adults living with diabetes are able to have a more normal life with less restrictions than ever before.  Dr. William Sansum was the first physician in the US to purify injectable insulin, thereby turning around a disease that was a death sentence in just a few weeks or months, prior to his discovery.

With your participation, we will be able to offer some very enticing tickets to Six FLags Magic Mountain, a very popular destination a little over an hour away for our local children and their families.
