Be a part of the fun at the 28th Tastefully Yours premier food tasting event, featuring craft beer and wine, on April 11th at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. Virginia Peninsula Foodbank, established in 1986, is the largest hunger relief organization across the greater Peninsula, so let’s celebrate the mission of the Foodbank with an 80’s theme. You will sample many delicious foods from our local food establishments, and enjoy the evening’s itinerary as everyone comes together to support programs that nourish those individuals lacking nutritious meals right here at home.

80’s Dress Contest. Pull out those leg warmers, boots, disco attire, polka dots, bright colors, washed jeans, jumpsuits, denim jackets, sweatbands and come dressed up in your favorite 80’s theme.

Guests can sample the local flavors from up to 30 food establishments and culinary training programs, and taste local craft beer and wines, while enjoying live music, dancing, photo booths, and trying your luck at the “funny money” gambling tables.

Tastefully Yours provides a wonderful opportunity to give back to your community, while also experiencing delicious culinary creations. 

The funds raised will help provide hunger relief and hope to individuals, families, children, seniors, and veterans struggling with food insecurity across the greater Peninsula. Hunger is truly a collaborative effort, and we work in partnership with over 140 agencies, including soup kitchens, churches, and emergency shelters, and programs such as our Food for Kids BackPack Program, Kids Cafe Program, School Produce Market and School Pantry Program, and Mobile Food Pantry Program, to serve all who need our help.

Every dollar provides three healthy meals.

Come join us on April 11th from 6:00 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. at the Hampton Roads Convention Center because giving has never tasted so good! All proceeds will benefit the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank. Tickets are $65.00 in advance and $75.00 day of the event and at the door. We hope to see you there!
