The Joseph Ahmed Foundation’s annual gala will be held on October 5, 2023.  The objective of the Gala is to raise funds for pediatric cancer research and increase awareness towards Ewing’s Sarcoma and all other forms of rare pediatric sarcoma. The event is expected to have 200+ in attendance showing their support and we are grateful for the opportunity of raising vital funds towards fulfilling our goals and mission.

The Joseph Ahmed Foundation (JAF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, that was established in 2016 by the family of Joseph Ahmed, who lost his courageous battle with Ewing’s Sarcoma on September 1, 2014. Through their tragic loss and grief, Joseph’s loved ones established the Joseph Ahmed Foundation with the purpose of raising much needed funds for pediatric cancer research and increasing awareness for Ewing’s Sarcoma. Joseph died at the tender age of 16, because there were no viable treatments to save his life nor was there any hope in the horizon for new developments, innovative treatments or therapies to treat Ewing’s Sarcoma and other forms of pediatric cancer. The disease is rare and not profitable for pharmaceutical companies to research, yet hundreds of children are dying every year because of it.
