The Legal Aid Society of Roanoke Valley will be hosting our third annual Tea for Justice on May 9, 2023, in Roanoke, Virginia.  The Tea is a high tea themed luncheon where we present information about our organization, mingle with attendees, and have a silent auction.  The funds raised at the Tea go to support our office so that we can continue to provide a full range of expert legal services to identify and resolve the most critical civil injustices facing low-income people - all at no cost to our clients.  We assist with preventing unlawful evictions, obtaining protection from domestic violence, accessing vital public benefits, and many other civil matters.  With cuts in several of our major funding grants, the money raised at our Tea and silent auction is critical in allowing us to keep providing all of the incredible services we offer to our clients.
