The PTA of Prairie View Elementary School, a 501 (c)(3) organization, is seeking assistance in donations from local companies to support our school, teachers and thereby students in a way that they are able. With the recent Covid surge and our students and educators being drastically impacted by illness and school closure, we would like to make their end of year celebrations (5th grade Graduation, Teacher Appreciation week, and End of Year Award ceremonies) extra special. It is not possible to recognize them in the manner they should be recognized without the support of our community. Since we are a Title 1 school, we rely on our community for donations to help bring activities and goodies to our school to ensure that all students and their families are included.

For perspective, we have approximately 615 students (about 90 5th graders) and 70 staff members. For Prairie View Elementary School, teacher appreciation week is May 2nd - 6th and our 5th grade graduation and end of year award ceremony for all students will be held May 20th through 26th. We are looking for food items and anything special for our teachers for teacher appreciation week, customized t-shirts and cupcakes for our 5th grade graduation ceremony, and items, gift cards or tickets to be used as prizes at our end of year ceremony for the entire school.
