Every spring, the Canyons School District announces and celebrates its Teachers of the Year. Worthy teachers in our district are nominated by students, parents, and their peers, and then the administration pours over the nominations in March and selects one Teacher of the Year for each school. These exceptional teachers are then surprised at their school with a gift basket, large banner, and bouquet. We are currently looking for donations of items to include in each of the 50 gift baskets we'll be delivering to the schools in March. If you are willing to donate 50 items (e.g. free meal certificates, gift cards, branded merchandise, snacks, small gifts, etc.), you can send them to  the Canyons Education Foundation, 9361 South 300 East, Sandy, UT 82070.

Donors to our Teacher of the Year program get their logo included on banners that hang at the front entrances in each of our 50 schools. These banners are typically left up all year to recognize each school's exceptional teacher and the donors who value them. Donors are also recognized on signage and in a slide presentation at the Teacher of the Year awards ceremony. In order to have your logo included on the school banners, we must have your donation in hand by March 9.

The Canyons Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all proceeds from your donations benefit Canyons students, teachers, and schools. Contributions are tax-deductible (Tax ID# 45-2603900).
