At City Year, we dedicate a year to serving our communities and students. It's not always easy but we continue to show up because we believe in the work that we do. We have already seen so much impact this year through our small group interventions, after-school programs, and student events. Our small group students went from off track to on track in their math and ELA classes, several have won student of the month, and some also showed improved behavior in their classes. We have also thrown student celebration events where we were able to celebrate student success, as well as engage with families during family engagement nights. All of this to say, that we have done so much this year and I am so proud of everything that my team has accomplished. It wasn't easy with limited resources and long work hours, but they always showed up with a smile on their face ready to support their students. This event is to celebrate those accomplishments and to appreciate their hard work and dedication.
