I am hosting an upcoming event benefiting the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA). The fundraiser will be held at McNamara’s Pub and Restaurant in Arlington, VA on September 15, 2021. This is the fourth year we are holding a special restaurant event to support this cause.

I volunteer on behalf of “Team Pauk” because on January 10th, 2016, I lost a dear friend, Andrew Paukstitus. He passed away at the age of 30 due to complications from the congenital heart defect he was born with, and seven open heart surgeries he went through. Andrew and his family have been very involved with ACHA fundraising for many years. This organization benefits the 1 in 100 people born with congenital heart disease (CHD). One hundred percent of the money raised through the raffle at McNamara’s will be directly donated to Team Pauk. Over $11,000 was raised under “Team Pauk” in 2019, helping the grand total for the DC—MD—VA Congenital Heart Walk reach $77,315.

After a rough 2020, I know a lot of people are looking forward to enjoying social events and we are expecting a big turnout for this year’s fundraiser. Your participation in this event would be great exposure in the community. Any marketing materials you would like to provide would be displayed at the event. I also can provide the 401(c)3 from ACHA, so any contribution you make is 100 percent tax deductible! What do you have to lose by helping out?!
