We believe that the camp experience is transformational for all ages. Serving hundreds and thousands of kids, the YMCA offers a variety of programs from Preschool to School-Age to Teen and Residential camps. Camps give kids the chance to make new friends, learn new skills and engage in indoor and outdoor adventures. We utilize the YMCA core values to teach campers how to be more independent and contribute to a group through physical, social and educational activities. We also recognize that Teens don't need child care, therefore we work to make camp an experience where they can learn to give back to their community, engage with their peers, and experience life to the fullest by going on grand field trips and adventures. This however comes at a price, most of the experiences that they want to do are quite expensive. We work hard to get donations and collaboration with community organizations.
