Description

We are excited to be planning the Texas Biomedical Forum’s 54th Gala, Matsuri, to be held at The Argyle on May 10, 2025. This annually sold-out event raises money to support San Antonio's very own Texas Biomedical Research Institute, one of the world's leading, non-profit biomedical research institutions founded in 1941 by the late visionary Thomas B. Slick, Jr. Over the past 80 years, Texas Biomed has remained at the forefront of human health issues affecting the world's populations.

We would be delighted and honored to promote your business as a donor for our 2025 Gala. We are eager to showcase our Silent Auction and the Ribbon Pull, an interactive experience, whereby participants pay for the chance to pull a ribbon and win a prize! By choosing to donate to this worthy cause, your business will be featured in all event printing, along with the Forum’s website and social media. Your donation to our Ribbon Pull or Silent Auction will help our mission to support Texas Biomed and help increase their research funding. And, as we are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, all donations are tax-deductible to the limit established by the IRS.

The proceeds from Gala directly fund the work of the scientists at Texas Biomed who are on the front lines researching vaccines, treatments, and cures for myriad infectious diseases as well as conditions including Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and various forms of cancer. The Forum is proud of our 55 years of support for their crucial work.

Since its founding in 1970, the Forum has supported Texas Biomed through community relations, volunteer services and fundraising. Annually, Forum Grants and Gala fundraising are integral parts of the Forum’s contributions towards pilot study research. These pilot studies are vital to securing the research projects for which Texas Biomed is respected across the international scientific community. Over the last twenty years, the Forum has awarded more than $4.8 million in Pilot Study Grants which have enabled Texas Biomed researchers to apply for more than $90 million in outside grants, amounting to a more than twentyfold return on our investment.

We thank you in advance for your consideration! One of our committee volunteers will
gladly pick up your item at your earliest convenience. We greatly appreciate your support!
