Jammin’ for Health – Health Fair Starts 12/14/2019 at 10:00am in The Crowne Plaza, Downtown Dallas, TX 

Dallas, Texas, 11/07/2019 - On Saturday, December 14, 2019, from 10AM-3PM. Celebrate wellness with us and learn how to create a healthier lifestyle by attending the 410 Line Dancers health fair titled Jammin’ for Health.  The health fair is open to the public with goals of prevention and improved health outcomes in the community. 

The morning will start out with a session called Talk Shop with Officer Jay Plunkett of the Irving Police Department who will discuss how to interact with law enforcement when approached by police. Hickory Behavioral Hospital will be participating and leading a discussion on depression and mental health in the African American community. 

The free health fair will feature educational opportunities and health screenings, as well as local vendors.  Participants can learn about prevention and treatment of common chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, balance disorders, cancer and much more.  Be the Match will host a bone marrow registration drive.
