Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Deep East Texas educates, supervises, and supports volunteer Guardian ad Litem to advocate in court for child victims of abuse and neglect, so they may live in safe, permanent homes. Texi-Gras! is our annual fundraiser which helps raise money for the general budget. The night celebrates CASA and Mardi-Gras with Texas flair! The  evening includes music, dinner, dancing, along with live and silent auctions. This event is a casual celebration with traditional cowboy boots and jeans with Mardi-Gras magic.
