We are pleased to share that plans are underway for the 2019 Thanks A Million Gala supporting the Thanks Mom & Dad Fund^®. Each November we honor the inspiration of those who came before us with this special evening. Funds raised during the Gala support programs such as home-delivered meals, transportation services, and others that are vital to older adults and caregivers.

WSB-TV, Channel 2’s former anchor Jocelyn Dorsey plans to join House of Card’s Michael Kelly as the Masters of Ceremony again this year as we plan an evening to celebrate and honor mentors and loved ones during this special event planned for the Georgia Aquarium.

Funds raised provide valuable services to seniors in need. One such program supports innovation at senior centers. With new programming more seniors are taking exercise classes and “moving joints that we didn’t remember we had.” More than just exercise, the benefits of the classes include improved balance and older adults are able to live in their homes and communities longer.
