About Maverick Cares

Maverick Cares is a 501(c)3 non-profit that is an employee-led philanthropic branch of Maverick Gaming. Our mission is centered around identifying the most vulnerable families within the communities we operate in and working to provide those families with vital resources like meals, supplies, and connections to goods/services. 


What makes Maverick Cares different than your typical auction/charity program, is that we have a commitment to building a network of support so families will not only be provided with immediate resources like food but will also be exposed to a network of local resources that can provide ongoing and sustainable support. 


Thanksgiving “Feed a Family of Four”

Each fall, Maverick provides a full Thanksgiving meal to families which is distributed through local charities such as the United Way, the YMCA, HopeLink, and many more. These charities identify families and provide vouchers directing them to the pick-up locations in their community.


During the holidays, it is easy and obvious to provide food for a Thanksgiving meal but we feel that with your donation we are giving families something extra special that they can use for a family outing, meal, or event. By giving families receive these little “extras” you are making a huge difference by helping them feel special, like other families, because sometimes something as small as a trip to a museum, movie tickets, and even something as simple as an ice cream cone is a luxury item they can’t typically afford.


What we Need

Over the past year, we have reached out to hundreds of local businesses to provide an avenue for them to give back to folks across the state. Our hope is that with your help, our community events can grow and be a place where families in need can go to gain access to a multitude of different resources. 


Your donation will be given to people who live in your area. This ensures that your businesses will be utilized by people living in your community.


If there is are good/service your business is willing to provide to families in need, we would love to hear from you and help coordinate your involvement in this unique program that gives back to families in your local area.
