For 25 years, Washington Improv Theater (WIT) has brought the art of improvised theater to the Greater Washington DC area. We help unleash the creativity of Washingtonians in every ward of the District.

We now serve thousands each year through 250+ performances, accessible eight-week classes, free introductory workshops a month (reaching every Ward of the District), as well as a number of other community outreach efforts including after-school programming at Project Create and work with veterans at the Armed Services Arts Partnership.

We are hosting a large fundraising event featuring a silent auction on June 16, 2023 at the Asian Fusion Gallery. Our event is expected to draw over 200 attendees from the 23,000 annual audience members we have, which tend to skew toward young, social professionals. The auction will be held online as well, greatly increasing exposure. Our community of students, performers,
and audience members are socially active and come from all over DC as well as the Maryland and Virginia suburbs. Businesses that participate in the event will be prominently featured in our event program and on signage at the event.

In order to make this event a smashing success, we are requesting a donation of a product or service that we can auction off to the attendees. All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax-deductible. Due to our storage restrictions, we request that any physical items be shipped to the auction winner or arranged for pick-up.
