The Buddy Walk is the annual fundraising event for The Down Syndrome Association of Toronto (DSAT). Families fundraise for weeks leading up to the event, and then get together to complete a 3km walk. This event is highly anticipated in the Down syndrome community, and is the main source of funding for the following year. 

Funding is needed so that DSAT can organize and facilitate community programs and events, and provide resources and support to the community. Individuals with Down syndrome are often excluded from mainstream community programs, or these programs do not provide the required support. 

At the Buddy Walk, there will be entertainment, music, guest speakers, and prize giveaways. Any prize donations will be awarded to and appreciated by community members with Down syndrome and their families. Your company will be recognized on our Thank you flyers, verbally, and in follow up thank you e-mails that will reach up to 1000 people.
