This year, Lutheran Social Services of Southern California is hosting our first annual Color of Hope Gala & Awards after 78 years of consistent service in Los Angeles and in communities throughout Southern California. While we are beyond excited about this event, it is also a large undertaking, and we urgently would like your help. The event will be at CSUF Marriott Ballroom in Fullerton on Friday, November 11th, 2022 with supporters, celebrities, and community leaders in attendance.

Our goal is to raise $167,000 for the community we serve, addressing pressing community health crises, including food insecurity, homelessness, chronic poverty, housing crises, health inequity, and mental health crises. During these last few years, the agency has served over 40,000 individuals and families and provided more than 40 programs throughout six Southern California counties, including in Los Angeles County.

Our mission is to embrace, equip, and empower vulnerable people in Southern California. We seek to help our communities become places where the vulnerable are safer and stronger; the dependent are self-sustaining; the isolated dwell in a loving community; and the weary are given hope.

We hope that through community support, we can reach our goal this year. A donation request of tickets from Pacific Park will contribute to our “Family Adventure Package “for the silent auction, in which all funds raised will directly address the rising challenges in the community.
