Information about the 30th Annual Good News Open Charity Golf Tournament and Silent Auction

Good News Ministries has been serving homeless men, families and disadvantaged children in Indianapolis since 1950. We rely solely on gifts from the community to help us provide assistance with food, shelter, clothing, medical care and educational opportunities for those who come to Good News each day in desperate need of help.

Our annual charity golf tournament and silent auction provides operating funds during the summer months- a time of year when donations are typically at their lowest level of the year. Every dollar raised from this event goes to support our general operating budget and fund vital direct services used to make a difference and change many lives by helping us provide assistance with food, shelter, clothing, medical care, educational/employment opportunities, substance abuse counseling and encouragement for the homeless and disadvantaged people of the inner city.

It takes a great deal of money to provide these services for the more than 200 desperate men, women and children that come through our doors every day in desperate need of help. The months of June through August always present difficult financial challenges. While homelessness never goes on vacation, our gift income falls to the lowest levels of the year during the summer months.

The 30th Annual Good News Open Charity Golf Tournament and Silent Auction is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the beautiful Eagle Creek Golf Club in Indianapolis, Indiana.
