Grandma's Place is an emergency shelter for 16 children-from birth to the age of 12-who have been removed from their home by the Department of Children &Families (DCF) due to abuse or neglect. All children including sibling groups and children with disabilities, are welcomed at Grandma's. Our mission is to provide a safe haven and loving care to the children we serve. The agency is unique as it is the ONLY certified emergency shelter for children from birth to the age of 12 left in Palm Beach County. Every year Grandma's Place hosts a luncheon to raise the necessary funds to continue its mission. This year, the 6th Annual Grandma's Angels luncheon will be held at the Sailfish Club in Palm Beach, We anticipate 200 guests at this function and a net of $75,000. This luncheon rings in the holiday season with a wine reception, a fabulous silent auction followed by a lunch and live auction. The event is emceed by local CBS 12 News Anchor LIz Quirantes and highlighted on the local news.
