The Ausome Allen Foundation hosts events to raise money to send special needs hereos to summer camp and because we have done this so successfully we decided to build an inclusive playground destination with the first of its kind wheelchair accessible two story treehouse.  Our teams hosts one of the largest softball tournaments in Texas with and for special needs. Our goal at the AUsome Allen foundation is to give special needs heroes a full and loving life, providing them with opportunities that will inspire growth and encouragement that will forever change their lives. Our softball tournaments are not only geared to and for special needs heroes it also teaches others how to include special needs and how something as easy as a hi five can change their day. Making a hero smile and feel good is the best unexplainable feeling. It hits the heart just right. We find ways to include special needs in all of our events, and our bi-annual tournaments are the best. We start by giving them a specially designed jersey and medal for these hereos as they are placed on the teams that show up for these heroes, they take their time to shine on the field as many times as they want, on as many teams as they want.  While they are at the plate we make them feel like a celebrity. We ask that the communities come out and bring their families to cheer on these heroes as they step on the field for some of the most amazing life changing moments. During our tournament we have bounce house, dunking booth, yard games with prizes, sensory stations, vendor shopping, henna tattoos and so much more. 

Our playground will have the first of its kind wheelchair accessible 2 story treehouse, birthday party rooms, nature trail, AUsome Stops *AAC devices that are geared toward the park EX: The trees, nature and animals they could encounter and more. There will be available workout/physical therapy equipment, floating doc, stocked fishing pond, a rubber flooring that allows access all around the playground for EVERYONE. 

This park will encourage play for everyone, it will help create life long friendships with people of all abilities.
