Dear Community Relations Team:

 

On behalf of the Brainerd Public School Foundation, we are very excited to announce The Big Event, a celebration of Brainerd Public Schools Foundation that will be held on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019.  This is a volunteer organized event to celebrate our public schools and raise funds for the Brainerd Public Schools Foundation (BPSF).

This event is anticipated to be large, with a goal of 500+ attendees in our sixth year. It will appeal to local residents as well as people from outside the area as the Brainerd alumni reach goes very far. 

BPSF exists to support the public schools in various ways including scholarships and providing “4A” grants to teachers to help fill some of the gaps caused by funding shifts in recent years.  The “4A” grants cover academics, activities, arts and athletics.

The mission and vision of BPSF are as follows:

The MISSION of the Brainerd Public Schools Foundation is to enhance opportunities for quality academics, art, activities and athletics for the students of the Brainerd Public School District. 

The VISION of the Brainerd Public Schools Foundation is for the young people of the Brainerd Lakes Area to have the finest educational opportunities possible to enable all individuals to reach their fullest potential as learners, participants, citizens, artists, athletes and contributors to our community and the whole of society.

Donating to the auction will allow us to raise funds for scholarships as well as the above mentioned 4A Grants.  We are hoping that we can count on ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­you as an Auction Donor to the event.   We will have a live auction as well as an electronic silent auction throughout the evening. 

Your donation will be recognized in a couple of different ways.  We will include your name and the item donated in all programs related to the event.  You will be recognized verbally and in print as a donor to the event.
