On Friday, November 12, Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County will be hosting our annual gala, The BIG Event, to raise funds for our one-to-one mentoring programs that connect youth with positive role models. These relationships help children achieve academic success, get along better with family and friends, and helps each child realize their full potential. The event is our largest fundraiser of the year and will include a dinner, awards to our Matches of the Year, and our highly anticipated Silent and Live Auctions. 

Our mentoring programs are free to every child in our program, and currently serves 450+ children and partners with 30 elementary and middle schools. This event's proceeds raise 1/5 of our annual operating budget and the auctions proceeds contribute a large portion to the overall funds raised.
