The Blue and White Gala
Gala/Party for Westchester Country Day SchoolNov 12, 2021 from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Since 1967, Westchester Country Day School has been educating children toward moral, academic, artistic, and athletic excellence in a nurturing, family environment where students, teachers, and parents support one another. By respecting the student and honoring learning, Westchester is cultivating informed citizens who are ready for a rapidly changing world and graduating students who view the pursuit and wise use of knowledge as a lifelong joy.
On November 12, 2021, Westchester will host its 38th annual charity auction. The Blue and White Virtual Gala will consist of both live and silent auctions, a 50/50 raffle and a paddle raise for Chuck’s Fund.
Proceeds from the event have a direct impact on Westchester’s students and faculty. The money raised each year goes to support classroom enhancement, technology, professional development, and much more. Our ability to have in-person instruction despite COVID-19 is in large part due to the success of our galas. The funds from the past two years helped us cover the additional costs of delivering in-person instruction, despite the global pandemic.
This year, given increased expenses, support is even more vital. We are reaching out to our community, as we do every year, to humbly ask for your participation. We understand some of our families and businesses have experienced financial stress due to COVID-19, and we do not expect participation from everyone this year. However, if you can contribute, we hope you will. Every sponsorship, every item, and every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference.
All sponsorships and donations are tax deductible, and participating families and businesses will be featured in our event materials.
Thank you for your consideration of our request! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me in the Development Office by phone (336.822.4021) or by email (kate.moser@westchestercds.org).
