2023 Epstein Celebration
November 2022
Dear Friend of Epstein,
We are excited to announce that the 2023 Epstein Celebration will take place on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at The Stave Room. Last year’s Celebration was a record-breaking success, and as we build on the success of past auctions, we would be honored by your support this year.
Since 1973, the Epstein School, a non-profit private school located in Sandy Springs, Georgia, has nurtured children from infancy through 8th grade. Central to an Epstein education is a dynamic curriculum in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), supplemented with a robust Jewish component fostering a strong religious identity, altruism, global awareness, critical thinking, and creativity. The endurance of this unique curriculum is largely made possible through proceeds from the annual Epstein Celebration.
It is our pleasure to announce that the 2023 Epstein Celebration will honor Kimberly and Marc Glenn, a couple that has spent the past 15 years giving their time, resources, and energy to The Epstein School. Together, Kimberly and Marc have served in almost every lay leadership role at the school and have done so with grace and love.
When their children Jonah ’17, Asher ’20 and Bella ’26 started at Epstein, Kimberly made the school her priority. She has served on the Ambassador Committee for over 12 years and founded its New Family Mentor Program. Kimberly holds her master’s in nutrition and has used her knowledge at Epstein by serving as a speaker and resource at many wellness programs. She was a founding member of a food task force designed to educate children to eat healthier, and help parents, faculty, and kitchen staff come up with enhanced food choices.
Marc is a founding lawyer with Continuum Legal Group. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia. Marc’s involvement with Epstein began soon after Jonah started school. Marc has served on the Board of Trustees, Finance Committee, Leadership Epstein, Committee on Trustees, and as President of the Board. Under his leadership as President of the Board of Trustees, Epstein remained functioning safely every day of the pandemic.
Kimberly and Marc are also engaged in the greater community. They have both served on the Board of Ahavath Achim Synagogue. Kimberly has chaired numerous programs for Riverwood High School PTSA and has served on various committees for the Lustgarten Foundations Pancreatic Walk. Marc has coached all of his kids in baseball, basketball, and soccer. In addition to being appointed by the government of the Republic of Iceland as honorary Consul, Marc was also appointed by President Bill Clinton to serve as a member of the Advisory Committee on Student Financial Aid. We are thrilled to honor this dedicated couple.
