The 10th Annual FARA Energy Ball will welcome an anticipated 800 attendees for a fun, high energy gala to benefit FARA and the USF Ataxia Research Center. 

Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA) is a debilitating progressive disease affecting the nerves, muscles, heart, and pancreas with no current treatment or cure. It’s caused by a gene mutation that 1 in 100 of us carries but don’t even know it until it affects our families. In partnership with the USF Ataxia Research Center, FARA has made tremendous strides in finding a cure, and continued financial support will fuel further research and clinical trials.

We are seeking items for our silent auction. The generosity of auction item donations from businesses is a critical part of the event’s success, with auction proceeds making up nearly a quarter of the $2 million gross raised in 2017. As a thank you for your donation, your company and the details of your donation will be highlighted in our auction catalog and in our auction display at a sold-out event attended by prominent members of the Tampa community.
