Description

The mission of The Foundation Schools is to provide a highly specialized educational and therapeutic program for students identified with emotional disabilities, as well as those with social, emotional and learning challenges, preparing them to be lifelong learners. Our vision is “all students experience success." The Foundation Schools serves approximately 350 students each year. Most of our students are from disadvantaged households, qualifying for the free or reduced federal school lunch program, and have nonstandard family or caregivers, such as grandparents, foster parents, or group homes.. The theme of the event is “Rising Above Challenges”. The event includes a student performance, silent auction of community donations, and student created artwork. It is the primary fundraiser for the school.
