The magic that comes from uniting homeless animals with loving families is what makes Animal Rescue Rhode Island (ARRI) such a special organization. ARRI has been offering refuge to companion animals in need since 1938. In 2023 the shelter saved 500 homeless animals, provided families in need with over 65,000 pet meals through its pet pantry, and educated nearly 1,000 students through its animal scholars program throughout Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts. 

We anticipate 2024 presenting new challenges with an increasing number of homeless pets in need. Of course, the more pets we welcome in, the more expenses we incur. Our fundraisers are an important aspect of ensuring we can continue to do our work. Will you join us as a partner for our 2024 special events?

The FurBall gala, benefiting ARRI, will take place June 14, 2024, at The Dunes Club in Narragansett.  The event boasts an elegant dinner, auction, and dance for over 300 guests. This is an evening to highlight and celebrate our commitment to rescuing companion animals and to the welfare of homeless pets.
