Dear Fellow Community Member,

I’m writing this letter on behalf of Saving Grace Maternity Home, a local Nonprofit (#47-4088854) in Oregon.  Saving Grace opened in 2016 in Hillsboro and provides shelter and security to young pregnant women, ages 18-25, who find themselves homeless, without a safe place to live. Without another home like this in Hillsboro, Saving Grace provides a necessary refuge and the support of a loving family environment for these often-dismissed young women. 

On September 9, 2023 we are hosting "The Gathering", our Fifth Annual Silent and Live Auction to benefit Saving Grace and to help us reach more homeless, pregnant young women in need, in our community.  With 300 in attendance at “The Gathering” in 2022, we were able to raise over $32,000 in financial support, providing Saving Grace the ability to pay down the principal on the home significantly. This was made possible by the generosity of our neighbors; local businesses and community members that chose to be a part of the good happening here.  Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 to make significant progress in paying off the home’s mortgage balance of $107,000.

We realize that we cannot do this alone and we are hopeful that YOU can help us out with a product donation, gift card, or sponsorship. Your support will make a great impact in the life of a homeless, pregnant young woman and her child.

As the only maternity home in Hillsboro, Saving Grace Maternity Home fills a much needed void, not only in our local community but the entire state, to provide a place for homeless, pregnant women to care for themselves and know they are cherished.  We know that YOU and our local community will continue to help us meet this need!
