Partnerships between schools, businesses, and local services is an important part of a strong community. St. Albert the Great is committed to being an active and involved member of this community. We welcome a warm relationship with you andyour constituents. Our school is a small school with big needs. Our students rely on the support of our St. Albert the GreatEndowment as a means for making a Catholic education affordable. In order to fund this Endowment, our Family SchoolAssociation sponsors a large parish and community event called, “The Great Event”.

This event will take place on February 26,2022 and honors our alumni, as well as current student families, and recognizes one person as an inductee into our Hall ofFame.This year’s inductee is Jeanne Merlo. Jeanne served St. Albert the Great School as our Kindergarten Teacher for 35 years.During Jeanne’s tenure, she was instrumental in developing a high quality Kindergarten program and curriculum. Jeanne is alsoa proud alumnus of St. Albert the Great, having attended school here while her mother served as the school librarian. Jeannealso sent all of her children to St. Albert the Great School. Jeanne has committed her entire career and personal life to St.Albert the Great School through her many years of service to our community, both in and out of the school.

During “TheGreat Event” we will honor our Hall of Fame inductee, as well as provide those who attend the event with multiple raffleprizes to provide funds for our Endowment. Once our Endowment goal has been attained, all remaining profits will be placedtowards school improvements.We welcome any type of donation, whether it be a large or small item for our raffle, or a monetary donation to help subsidizethe event. All persons and businesses that make item or monetary donations will have their names and/or company nameslisted in our Great Event program.
