Description

The foundation Mini Golf Tournament is amazing!!! The day is all about what the foundation represents!!! Being Great Today!!! Its about family, friends, fun and giving back and honoring Kelly.   This is literally everything a 18 course golf tournament offers but mini style.  There is food, golf, raffle and prizes as well as gift bags!!! The day is pure awesome and the sponsors and donors are recognized greatly throughout the day and at the tee signs as well as the donor board!!!  It means alot that local and regional sponsors help the cause as so many participants are from the CT, MA and RI area!!!!

Thank you again for the consideration in helping make this event and day GREAT!!

The Kelly Rodman Baseball Foundation was established in November of 2020 after the passing of Kelly at the age of 44 following a 16 month journey with ovarian cancer.  At the time she was a scout with the New York Yankees, one of only 3 in Major League Baseball.  Kelly's passion in life paralleled her love for the game in the for of advocating for the talent and mentoring of others who shared in her commitment.  She volunteered locally, nationally and globally to bring equipment and opportunity with clinics for under resourced youth programs.

Kelly was instrumental to the Yankees amateur scouting department and represented the organization with dignity and devotion.  Her tireless work ethic and passion for the game left an impact on the northeast high school and college coaches and players alike.  Her message of Be Great Today is the message of the foundation as we provide donations to youth programs and sponsor 10 summer intern positions at The Cape Code Baseball League.

Through donations and fundraising efforts we are able to support our mission of promoting the passion Kelly had by donations of equipment or funds for equipment to youth programs and the sponsorship of stipends for the summer intern positions annually.

Thank you for the consideration
