Description

We humbly ask your support in assisting the many, many thousands of children and families throughout Texas who are struggling with Tourette syndrome (TS), a neurodevelopmental disorder.  1 in 100 school-aged children have TS or a tic disorder and 50% of children with TS go undiagnosed.  An estimated 86% of people with Tourette syndrome have a co-occurring condition, such as ADHD, OCD, or anxiety, often along with learning differences, social issues, and self-esteem deficits.

The Tourette Association – Texas Chapter, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit health related organization, will host its annual fundraising gala on Thursday evening, January 25, 2024, at Houston Country Club.  The Landscape of Tourette is an evening of reception, awards, dinner, entertainment and auction. Our Gala is the major fundraiser for the state of Texas and all its activities.  Our services and programs have grown tremendously in the last 33 years as we assist more and more Texas families, so your generosity is most appreciated.

We hope that you will please consider a donation to the evening’s silent auction.

Your donation will be recognized in our Auction Catalog and via display, thus acknowledging your generosity. We have enclosed an Auction Donor Form for your convenience; please return it with your donation so that we may list you properly.

With your support, we can provide a clearer understanding of T.S. and improve the quality of life for those in crisis from this disorder, through programs such as our children’s weekend Camp; our unique medical assistance program; professional consulting; education; support groups; family events; and much, much more – all at no cost to our families.

We realize the incredible number of requests you receive and truly hope you will be able to participate in our very special auction.  Please feel free to call the Tourette Texas office with any questions at 281-238-8096 or email us at info@TouretteTexas.org.  Items may be mailed to: Tourette Association of Texas, c/o Cindy Sacks, 9407 Brown Leaf Circle, Houston, TX  77096, or please call for pick-up (713-254-5451).
