World-renown RVA Beard League to Host the
MID-ATLANTIC BEARD & ‘STACHE CHAMPIONSHIPS 9 on April 29th

Richmond, VA — Putting the “hair” in charity since 2011, the RVA Beard League is a 501(c)(3) social volunteer organization that works to improve our hometown through the 3 C’s of community service, charitable fundraising, and camaraderie. After breaking the $100,000 mark for total donations made by the RVA Beard League last year, we invite you to be a part of one of the best-known and best-regarded beard competitions in the country! The Mid-Atlantic Beard & ‘Stache Championships 9 will be part pirate fest, part tropical bearded luau, and all fun, so join us on April 29, 2023 at the Canal Club in Richmond, Virginia. 

We researched and vetted local non-profits, and this year we’re proud to support the Old Dominion Firefighters Burn Foundation whose programs support firefighter and civilian burn survivors, foster burn education and prevention, and sponsor the Central Virginia Burn Camp, a free and fun summer camp for young burn survivors. This year’s Mid-Atlantic Championships is poised to be big, and we want you to weigh anchor with us and be a part of it!

We always go that extra mile to set our event apart from so many others out there. In the months and weeks leading up to the Championships, we’ll run In Search of The Inferno, an online treasure hunt partnering with our top event sponsors. It’s a fun and unique way to get people engaged with your brand using tailored clues and references, keeping everyone talking about the event you’re supporting, and on the lookout for your company months before they make it to the competition at the end of April.

Our friends and colleagues have traveled to Richmond for the Mid-Atlantic Championships from throughout Virginia, the East Coast, and 30 states across the country (that’s 60% of the U.S.) including Alaska, and even across the pond in Great Britain! For our friends who can’t make it, our livestream of the event is a must-watch for beardsmen and Whiskerinas all over. The Mid-Atlantic Championships is our fun event that helps us bring people from all over the country together as they help us give back.
