Description

The 2022 MOAA Charities Golf Classic will be held Tuesday, May 31, at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm in Potomac, Maryland. A frequent stop for the PGA Tour, the course will host the 2022 Wells Fargo Championship the same month of MOAA’s Annual Golf Classic, so course conditions will be unmatched. We are very excited to provide access to this famous and challenging course for an event that will benefit MOAA’s wide-ranging and impactful charitable efforts.

For the past 17 years, MOAA’s golf tournament has supported the MOAA Scholarship Fund. In 2022, proceeds also will enhance programs run by The MOAA Foundation (TMF), which assists uniformed servicemembers, retirees and veterans (no matter their rank or years of service), as well as their family members, survivors, and caregivers through crisis relief, career transition, professional education outreach, military spouse professional development, and community outreach grants.

Both the Scholarship Fund and TMF have achieved a GuideStar Platinum rating, the highest rating offered by the nonprofit rating organization.

A limited number of sponsorship slots are still available. Please contact Bob Harrington at bob@ustournamentgolf.com for package details.

As part of our tournament program, we conduct a raffle and silent auction, which have on average resulted in an extra $2,000 each year for our charitable efforts. We hope you’ll consider supporting MOAA Charities and our military families by donating items for either the raffle or auction to help us exceed our past goals. Organizations also have an opportunity to provide in-kind donations for the tournament's gift bags.
