Hello, and ThankYou for taking the time to consider being a part of Texas Bombers WTX (American Freedom 2K26) fundraising golf tournament, the Patriot Golf Classic.  Who are the Texas Bombers WTX?  We are a youth fastpitch softball team made up of 15-16 year old girls from the Amarillo Texas area.  We underwent a softball organization name change this fall joining the Bombers group but still operate under our 501(c)(3) American Freedom 2K26 name DBA Texas Bombers WTX.  The girls log many hours and miles playing high level competition throughout the region, including Texas, Oklahoma & this summer in Tennessee chasing their dream of playing softball at the collegiate level.  This is our second year of hosting a golf tournament.  Last year's event was super successful as we had 60 four-man teams (240 players), over 40 sponsors, & 8 restaurants in attendance donating food and drink to our players and staff.  We will use any generated funds to help purchase uniforms, equipment & travel expenses.

What, When & Where?  The Patriot Golf Classic will be a 4-man scramble & take place Sunday May 5th (Cinco de Mayo).  We will have 2 shotgun tee times starting at 830am & 2pm.  The event will be held at Ross Rogers Golf Course in Amarillo Tx.

Why are we calling the event the Patriot Golf Classic?  Along with raising funds for our upcoming seasson we will also be donating a portion of our proceeds to BOOM Adventures.  We felt it was our Patriotic Duty to help our Veterans & First Responders, hence the Patriot Golf Classic name.  Last year we were able to donate $2,500 to BOOM Adventures and we plan on doubling that amount this year.  We encourage you to check out BOOM's website @ boomadventures.org  They do great work!!  Here's Boom's mission statement.

It's estimated that 22 veterans a day commit suicide.  BOOM Adventures is here to make sure our local heros are never without a battle buddy or someone to talk to.

Some of our cost-free excursions include hunting, fishing, and exploring the great outdoors.  These experiences have allowed us to create a community-based group that gives people an opportunity to connect and cope with each other.  BOOM Adventures also gives back by donating a portion of its harvested meat to help feed childern and fellow Veterans.
